Senior Electrical & Communication Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical & Communication Engineer with over 8 years of experience to lead the design and review of fibre optic and telecommunications infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) networks ranging from 4‑core to 144‑core, including splicing schedules, connectivity diagrams and port allocation designs.
• Perform bandwidth, capacity, load and voltage‑drop calculations and produce Single‑Line Diagrams (SLDs) for electrical networks.
• Develop power‑feeding arrangements and electrical network designs that meet project specifications.
• Coordinate technical requirements, submissions and approvals with Etisalat, du and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to FOC CAD Technicians and ensure compliance with NoC submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in FOC/telecommunications infrastructure and electrical network design.
• Proven experience with Etisalat and/or du infrastructure approvals.
