Senior Engineer – Model‑Based Engineering

About the role

The Senior MBE Engineer will drive the development and implementation of Model‑Based Engineering (MBE) and Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for Edge’s Halcon program. You will create and maintain system models, ensure requirements traceability, integrate the Digital Thread, and automate engineering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SysML system and subsystem models, interfaces, parameters, baselines and related deliverables.
• Manage requirements, model and verification traceability, performing change impact analysis across requirements, models and test cases.
• Support Digital Thread integration across ALM, PLM and configuration‑management tools, automating tasks with Python or MATLAB.
• Lead small technical activities, conduct model reviews and mentor junior engineers on MBE processes, standards and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems or product development with exposure to model‑based engineering.
• Practical knowledge of SysML/SysML v2, systems‑engineering processes, requirements management, verification and traceability.
• Hands‑on experience with scripting in Python and/or MATLAB for automation and reporting.
