Senior Engineer, Projects

About the role

The Senior Engineer, Projects will lead and execute engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept and FEED through construction, commissioning and hand‑over. The role ensures delivery aligns with safety, quality, schedule, cost and ADNOC Value Assurance Process (VAP) requirements while coordinating closely with engineering disciplines, central engineering, contractors, licensors, vendors and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project engineering across FEED, detailed design, construction and commissioning phases.
• Develop and review Statements of Requirement (SOR) and execution strategies.
• Support tender preparation, evaluate consultants, PMC and EPC contractors.
• Review contractor deliverables, construction methodologies and execution plans.
• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct value engineering, constructability reviews and technical workshops.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure efficient execution.
• Track contractor performance, costs, invoices and evaluate claims.
• Perform risk analysis, HSE reviews and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards.
• Maintain project documentation, close‑out reports and technical deliverables.
• Oversee pre‑commissioning, commissioning activities and facilitate hand‑over to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong expertise in project engineering across FEED, EPC and commissioning.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience managing contracts, variations and risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with ADNOC VAP, engineering standards and safety requirements.
