Senior Enterprise Data Modeler

About the role

We are seeking experienced Senior Enterprise Data Modelers to join a large‑scale, long‑term enterprise data programme. The role involves end‑to‑end design of enterprise data models, from governance and conceptual design through to physical implementation, supporting multiple business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise‑level conceptual, logical and physical data models across several domains.
• Adapt and extend industry reference data models to meet client requirements.
• Define modeling standards, naming conventions and governance processes.
• Collaborate with data governance and data quality teams on definitions, ownership, lineage and quality rules.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to agree on data definitions and subject areas.
• Review and guide models created by other modelers and delivery teams.

Required profile

• 9+ years of data modeling experience, with at least 5 years at the enterprise level.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one industry reference model (e.g., Teradata FSLDM, IBM BDW, TM Forum SID, HL7 FHIR, FIBO, etc.).
• Experience with government or public‑sector data models such as national data models, NIEM, ISA², or similar.
• Strong end‑to‑end ownership from governance to physical implementation.
• Willingness to join in Chennai or Bengaluru and work onsite in Abu Dhabi.

Required skills

• Expert use of a modeling tool such as erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner or Sparx EA.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks (DAMA‑DMBOK, CDMP, DCAM).
• Familiarity with Collibra, Informatica Axon, Alation or Purview.
• Exposure to Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modeling and cloud data platforms.
