Senior Ergonomic Risk Assessment Specialist (Remote, UAE)

About the role

An experienced Senior Ergonomic Risk Assessment Specialist is sought to evaluate workplace ergonomic risks, recommend preventive measures and support employee health and safety initiatives. The role focuses on remote ergonomic assessments, risk analysis and practical recommendations to improve workplace comfort, safety and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ergonomic risk assessments using workplace data, photographs, videos and employee feedback.
• Identify risks linked to workstation design, posture, repetitive movements and manual handling.
• Develop recommendations to reduce musculoskeletal risks and improve ergonomics.
• Prepare ergonomic assessment reports and corrective action plans.
• Advise employees and managers on workstation setup and ergonomic best practices.
• Support workplace health and safety programmes and risk reduction initiatives.
• Monitor corrective actions and evaluate the effectiveness of ergonomic improvements.
• Ensure recommendations align with recognised ergonomic standards and applicable UAE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Factors or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in ergonomic assessment or occupational risk management.
• Knowledge of ergonomic assessment methods and musculoskeletal risk factors.
• Experience with remote assessments, risk reporting and workplace improvement planning.
• Relevant certifications in ergonomics or occupational safety are an advantage.
