Senior Façade Designer

About the role

Façade Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Façade Designer to join its Sharjah office. You will turn architects’ concepts into aluminium, glass and steel façades that are manufactured in Ras Al Khaimah and installed on landmark projects across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed shop drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) from structural and architectural documents, specifications and BOQs.
• Create fabrication and installation drawings ready for immediate use by factory and site teams.
• Incorporate site survey measurements into drawings to ensure first‑time fit.
• Prepare corner samples, glass samples and sample boards, coordinating with the factory and meeting schedule commitments.
• Enter MRLs, glass cutting lists, SIRs and internal work orders accurately in Odoo.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants and main contractors.
• Follow up shop drawing and sample approvals until signed off.
• Deliver as‑built drawings for final handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on façade design experience, preferably with an aluminium and glazing contractor or fabricator.
• Strong ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and minimise revisions.
• Bachelor’s, Diploma or ITI in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience on GCC projects and familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of LogiKal and/or Orgadata.
• Ability to read and interpret BOQs, specifications and consultant comments.
• ERP data entry skills, particularly Odoo.
