Senior Finance Manager – Finance Control & Statutory Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead finance control and statutory reporting for our Foods, Commodity Trading & Crushing, Starch and Poultry businesses. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records across multiple entities and partners closely with Group Finance, Treasury, Tax, and external advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes for all assigned entities, reviewing trial balances, accruals, provisions and journal entries.
• Prepare and file statutory financial statements for UAE and overseas entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Manage external and internal audits, coordinate audit schedules, information requests and resolution of findings.
• Oversee corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing documentation and other tax compliance matters.
• Monitor Global Shared Services performance and ensure timely, high‑quality accounting deliverables.
• Handle intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations and support group consolidation.
• Supervise accounting for fixed assets, inventory, biological assets, payroll, bank accounts, trade finance and landed costs.
• Review commodity and currency hedge accounting, derivative valuations and IFRS 9 documentation.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital management and treasury coordination.
• Maintain chart‑of‑accounts governance, cost‑centre structure and finance master data.
• Lead finance system implementations, automation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop the finance control and statutory reporting team.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA) is mandatory.
• Extensive experience in financial control, statutory reporting, external audit, taxation and general‑ledger management.
• Background in a large, multi‑entity manufacturing, food or commodity‑trading organisation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and relevant regulatory frameworks.
