Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst ensures efficient data entry and manipulation of financial information, administers key finance databases, and maintains the integrity of interfaces between Oracle Financials and ancillary systems such as Maximo and HRMS. The role supports end‑users, oversees monthly closing, and drives automation to improve financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Currencies, and Chart of Accounts.
• Ensure seamless interfaces between Oracle Financials, Maximo, HRMS, and other systems.
• Supervise monthly closing, data uploads, and production of financial and cost reports.
• Provide training and support to finance division users, away teams, and UAE nationals.
• Design, develop, and maintain financial reporting structures in Oracle Financials.
• Participate in finance‑related system implementations and business requirement gathering.
• Analyze processes and propose automation solutions to enhance performance.
• Perform scenario analysis, develop ad‑hoc queries, and generate trial balances.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with Oracle Financials and related modules.
• Strong knowledge of accounting code combinations, budgeting, and cost reporting.
• Proven ability to supervise month‑end close activities and manage financial data integrity.
• Experience delivering training and supporting finance end‑users.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
