Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

AIQ is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build next‑generation applications that drive digital transformation in oil & gas operations. You will design and deliver cloud‑native, high‑performance systems that embed advanced AI capabilities into real‑world industrial use cases. The role requires collaboration with AI engineers, data scientists and domain experts to turn complex requirements into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack applications for AI‑driven oil & gas solutions.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Create robust back‑end services and APIs with Python (FastAPI) or Node.js, following micro‑services and event‑driven patterns.
• Deploy cloud‑native solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate AI/ML models and services into production applications and ensure performance, security and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently in agile environments and mentor junior engineers.
• Experience in oil & gas or industrial digitalisation is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js.
• React, Angular or equivalent SPA frameworks with TypeScript.
• Micro‑services architecture, RESTful APIs, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, DevOps practices.
• AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
