Senior Fullstack Developer (NestJS & Next.js)

About the role

SteerAI is an autonomous mobility technology company developing AI‑powered autonomy stacks for logistics and defence. We are looking for a senior full‑stack developer with strong experience in NestJS and Next.js to help build and scale our web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend components using Next.js (SSR, static generation, API routes).
• Build and evolve backend services with NestJS, ensuring clean architecture and high performance.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other engineers to deliver new features and improve existing functionality.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and real‑time communication protocols such as WebSocket and MQTT.
• Maintain code quality through clean, reusable, well‑documented code, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and ensure security and usability across devices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer or in a similar contract role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of Next.js (SSR, static site generation, API routes).
• Extensive experience with NestJS for server‑side applications.
• Comfort with REST APIs and state‑management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Familiarity with WebSocket, MQTT, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
