Senior HSE Specialist

About the role

The Senior HSE Specialist will lead the development and implementation of health, safety and environmental standards for LightHouseTV.nl’s media production activities. Working remotely, the specialist ensures safe practices for both physical and virtual work environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain HSE policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Monitor compliance with local and international HSE regulations and coordinate incident reporting and investigations.
• Provide guidance and training to leadership and project teams on safe working practices and occupational health.
• Drive continuous improvement of the HSE framework to support a distributed workforce.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing HSE programs, preferably in media, broadcasting or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of applicable HSE regulations, incident reporting and root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications in HSE/EHS or occupational health and safety are a plus.
