About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join its offshore team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves managing and designing control systems for oil and gas plants.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and oversee instrumentation and control systems for major offshore oil and gas projects.
- Lead commissioning, operation and start‑up activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in instrumentation & control for large oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Hands‑on experience in offshore projects, including commissioning, operation and start‑up phases.
