Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial & ICT Contracts

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel will serve as the primary legal advisor for enterprise and commercial matters, focusing on ICT‑related partnerships, manpower agreements and other commercial arrangements. The role requires delivering pragmatic, business‑oriented legal solutions while safeguarding the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal contact for enterprise and commercial matters, including ICT‑related partnerships, manpower agreements and other commercial arrangements.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts such as commercial agreements, ICT and technology contracts, data‑sharing agreements, NDAs, MOUs and standard terms.
• Provide legal support on data security, confidentiality and sensitive security‑related issues, ensuring appropriate protection of company and third‑party data.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and propose pragmatic, business‑oriented solutions.
• Coordinate external counsel, manage costs and ensure alignment with business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in an in‑house legal role or law firm within the UAE, preferably with commercial contract exposure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team, engaging effectively with key stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is desirable but not mandatory.
