Senior Manager - AI and Smart Data

About the role

The Senior Manager – AI and Smart Data will lead the design, development, and deployment of data management, analytics, and AI solutions across the insurance organization. The role is responsible for establishing a robust data governance framework, driving advanced analytics capabilities, and delivering AI‑driven insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to align AI and BI initiatives with business outcomes.
• Manage the data and AI Center of Excellence, defining use cases and overseeing model development.
• Design and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytics models, ensuring integration with existing systems.
• Oversee self‑service BI implementation, data visualization tools, and data pipeline optimization.
• Partner with InsurTech firms and AI vendors to explore new technologies.
• Define KPIs for AI/BI projects, track ROI, and ensure scalability and security of solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading AI, machine‑learning, and data‑analytics initiatives in a large organization.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and mentor technical teams.
