Senior Manager – Project (Construction)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Project will lead the delivery of large‑scale construction programmes within the EC & FZ Programme department. You will be responsible for overseeing complex projects from scope definition through execution, ensuring they meet client requirements, budgets and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all activities across ECFZ large‑scale projects, defining scope, deliverables, schedules and resource plans.
• Monitor budgets, personnel, equipment and material usage to meet client expectations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, providing corrective advice and updating mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with group governance, internal and external stakeholder requirements, and cluster standards.
• Coordinate interfaces and dependencies among projects, clusters and external parties.
• Promote HSE culture throughout construction activities.
• Track progress, analyse performance metrics, resolve bottlenecks and recommend action plans.
• Prepare management reports, data analysis and forecasting for medium‑scale project delivery.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date project records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience delivering construction projects in an industrial environment.
• Proven senior project or programme management experience in multi‑disciplinary engineering settings.
• Experience in both construction and consultancy organisations is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and cultural adaptability skills, able to collaborate at all organisational levels.
