Senior Manager – Student Exchange Academic Program

About the role

The Senior Manager of the Student Exchange Academic Program will serve as the primary academic liaison between the International Exchange Office and the university’s academic units. Reporting to the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs, the role ensures that exchange agreements align with faculty priorities and that study‑abroad pathways are integrated into curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main academic point of contact for the International Exchange Office, aligning institutional exchange agreements with departmental goals.
• Collaborate with academic departments to design and formalize discipline‑specific study‑abroad pathways.
• Advise faculty and program leaders on embedding exchange opportunities into courses and promote these options to students.
• Monitor and evaluate academic outcomes of exchange programs, using data and feedback to refine pathways and improve student success.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support and expand study‑abroad initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in any field.
• At least 10 years of experience working in higher‑education settings.
• Proven experience with discipline‑specific internationalization initiatives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Broad knowledge of the international exchange landscape and ability to work across academic disciplines.
