Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Raytheon is establishing a high‑velocity production centre in the United Arab Emirates for next‑generation counter‑UAS technologies. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead the set‑up of the UAE facility, providing technical manufacturing assistance from early development through to full‑scale production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes and analyse factory capabilities to ensure production readiness.
• Create Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow routing, labour standards, and tool/fixture designs.
• Provide technical input and peer‑review for engineering designs and design changes.
• Guide assembly and quality teams, solving technical problems across the value stream.
• Act as the producibility authority, recommending process and procedural changes to meet cost, efficiency and quality goals.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to design, control, and improve product producibility.
• Identify and resolve constraints throughout the program and participate in corrective‑action investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in manufacturing production, process development or improvement.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and applying GD&T.
• Experience with CAD solid‑modeling tools, preferably CREO or ProE.
• Strong technical writing skills for creating and improving documentation.
