About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialized in static and rotating equipment for offshore projects. The role is based in the United Arab Emirates and involves overseeing engineering tasks, construction, and fabrication activities.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee engineering design and analysis for static and rotating equipment.
- Manage construction and fabrication processes ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of overall experience, including 6 years on major oil & gas/petrochemical projects.
- Proven experience in EPC project lifecycles, offshore construction, commissioning, operation and start‑up.
- Previous involvement in ARAMCO projects is an advantage.
Required skills
- Knowledge of API and ASME standards.
- Expertise in EPC project lifecycles.
- Offshore construction experience.
- Commissioning and operation of mechanical systems.
- Start‑up procedures for static and rotating equipment.
