Senior Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Mergers & Acquisitions Consultant you will drive M&A transactions that support Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology strategy in the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to identify targets, evaluate opportunities and ensure successful deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to source acquisition or divestment targets.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess valuation scenarios and deal economics.
• Coordinate due‑diligence activities across functions and external advisors.
• Assist in structuring deals, drafting term sheets and supporting negotiation processes.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and decision‑support materials for senior leadership.
• Contribute to integration planning and post‑deal performance tracking.
• Mentor junior team members and help improve M&A tools and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, private equity, investment banking or financial consulting.
• Proven track record in transaction execution, including target screening, due diligence, valuation and integration.
• Strong analytical mindset with high initiative and ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures and functions.
