DHA Registered Phlebotomist

About the role

HealthHub Clinics, part of Al-Futtaim Health, is looking for an experienced DHA registered phlebotomist to join its multidisciplinary team at HealthHub Dubai Festival City. The clinic serves a diverse patient population across family medicine, paediatrics, internal medicine, women's health, specialist services, laboratory, radiology and preventive health programmes. Candidates fluent in Arabic or Tagalog alongside English are highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture and blood collection for adult and paediatric patients
• Collect, label, process and prepare specimens accurately, and ensure proper handling and transport
• Identify patients correctly and maintain their confidentiality
• Support health screening and preventive healthcare programmes
• Monitor patients during and after blood collection
• Explain procedures clearly, reassure anxious patients and support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Follow DHA regulations and laboratory standards, infection prevention and control, and keep accurate records

Required profile

• DHA licensed phlebotomist or DHA eligibility
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a phlebotomist
• Experience performing blood collection independently
• Fluent English; Arabic or Tagalog is highly preferred
• Experience in outpatient clinics, medical centres, hospitals or diagnostic centres, and with paediatric patients is preferred

• Good computer literacy and documentation skills
