Senior Officer - Marine HSEQ

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Officer to lead Marine HSEQ initiatives at Safeen MS, ensuring a healthy and safe work environment through the implementation of integrated management and safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ASOPs, SMS, SSP, and waste management documentation.
• Report, analyse and follow‑up non‑conformities, incidents, drills and HSE observations.
• Conduct marine unit audits, inspections and support management walk‑abouts.
• Coordinate with certification bodies to maintain DOC, SMC and ISSC certifications.
• Support risk evaluations across marine units and office departments.
• Monitor closure of non‑conformities and verify compliance.
• Liaise with vessel masters, clients and contractors on safety matters and report to HSEQ Manager.
• Track HSEQ performance and prepare performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of HSEQ experience on on‑shore or off‑shore sites.
• Internal Auditor certification; Designated Person or Company Security Officer preferred.
• Strong command of English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
