Senior Oracle WebCenter Developer

About the role

The client, a Sharjah government entity, seeks a senior Oracle WebCenter Developer to design, develop, customize, integrate and support their Oracle WebCenter platforms and associated WebLogic environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain WebCenter Portal and Content solutions according to client requirements.
• Create custom components, workflows, templates and system integrations.
• Support and troubleshoot production WebCenter and WebLogic environments, resolving incidents within SLA.
• Apply patches and upgrades in coordination with DevOps and DBA teams.
• Optimize performance, security configuration and content lifecycle.
• Produce technical designs, documentation and deployment guides.
• Provide knowledge transfer to client technical staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of Oracle Fusion Middleware experience, including at least 5 years hands‑on with Oracle WebCenter Portal or Content.
• Bilingual Arabic and English with RTL portal content support.
• Experience in a government or judicial context is a plus.

Required skills

• Oracle WebCenter Portal 12c/14c – portal development, page templates, skins, task flows, portlets.
• Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM) – content models, workflows, metadata, profiles, components.
• Oracle ADF, Java EE, JDeveloper, WebLogic Server deployment and configuration.
• Integration using REST/SOAP, RIDC, Oracle SOA Suite/OSB.
• Oracle Identity/Access integration (OAM/OID or LDAP/Active Directory, SSO).
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting of WebCenter and WebLogic environments.
