Senior Payments And Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payments & Operations Specialist to join our fast‑growing FinTech/Payments business in Dubai. This hands‑on position covers banking, payment providers, fiat and crypto transactions, reconciliation, liquidity and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with banks, PSPs and payment partners, including onboarding and integrations.
• Handle end‑to‑end payment issues, refunds, disputes, chargebacks and RFIs.
• Monitor liquidity across banking, payment and crypto providers and flag shortfalls.
• Perform regular reconciliation of payment flows, FX positions and account balances.
• Investigate crypto transactions on various blockchains and execute crypto exchanges.
• Escalate suspicious transactions to Compliance and senior management.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues raised by Support and communicate with clients.
• Create and maintain SOPs, automate reporting and workflows using AI tools.
• Support training and development of junior operations team members.

Required profile

• Solid experience in Payments, Banking Operations, FinTech, Forex or Crypto environments.
• Strong understanding of payment rails such as SWIFT, SEPA and Faster Payments.
• Good knowledge of fiat and crypto payment flows and banking integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with reconciliation, disputes, chargebacks, RFIs and transaction monitoring.
• Familiarity with AML, fraud and compliance escalation procedures.
• Highly autonomous, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
