Senior PHP/Laravel Developer with Infrastructure & DevOps Experience

About the role

We are looking for a senior PHP/Laravel developer who also has strong infrastructure and DevOps skills. The role is fully remote and involves building, maintaining and modernising data‑driven, business‑critical applications while ensuring system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain applications using PHP, Laravel, Filament and PostgreSQL.
• Administer a high‑availability Proxmox cluster and related technologies such as Ceph/CephFS, ZFS, Linux and containerised services.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git and Gitea, and automate releases.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain monitoring, logging and backup solutions (Icinga, Grafana, Loki) and ensure security and capacity planning.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience, preferably as a senior developer or technical lead.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PHP 8.x, Laravel (latest version) and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to manage production‑grade infrastructure, virtualization and storage technologies.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
