Senior Procurement Executive

About the role

Chef Middle East is seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to lead sourcing, purchasing and inventory management for its foodservice operations. The role combines strategic planning, strong negotiation, and supplier relationship management to ensure quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable foodservice suppliers while ensuring quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain and strengthen long‑term supplier partnerships, negotiating pricing, contracts and payment terms.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews based on delivery, quality and service levels.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
• Forecast demand, plan inventory and collaborate with logistics to minimise shortages, excess stock and waste.
• Use data‑driven insights to optimise procurement cycles and reduce lead times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food‑safety standards and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts and supplier agreements, and perform regular audits.
• Support finance, operations and sales teams to align procurement activities with overall goals.
• Promote sustainable procurement practices that reflect organisational values.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience, preferably in foodservice or FMCG.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and managing both international and local suppliers.
