Senior Procurement Executive

About the role

Chef Middle East is seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to lead sourcing, purchasing and inventory management for its foodservice operations. The role combines strategic thinking with strong negotiation abilities to secure quality products at optimal cost while maintaining reliable supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable foodservice suppliers ensuring quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain and strengthen long‑term supplier partnerships, negotiating pricing, contracts and payment terms.
• Conduct regular performance reviews based on delivery timelines, product quality and service levels.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals and operational needs.
• Forecast demand, plan inventory and collaborate with logistics to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Use data‑driven insights to optimise procurement cycles and reduce waste.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, food‑safety standards and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts and supplier agreements, and perform regular compliance audits.
• Support finance, operations and sales teams to align procurement activities with overall objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are preferred.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience, preferably in foodservice or FMCG.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and managing both international and local suppliers.
