Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Senior Procurement Specialist will lead sourcing activities, supplier relationships and contract negotiations across the organisation, reporting directly to the Head of Group Procurement. This hands‑on role supports procurement strategy, drives value and ensures timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and engage reliable suppliers to meet business requirements.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure favourable pricing, service levels and contractual terms.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key external partners.
• Prepare and evaluate RFQs, RFPs and supplier proposals, conducting commercial and risk assessments.
• Monitor supplier performance, implement improvement plans and manage purchase orders and contracts.
• Identify cost‑optimization, standardisation and value‑creation opportunities across categories.
• Utilise ERP and procurement systems to track spend, performance and generate reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years at senior specialist level.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial value through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
• Experience in FF&E, interior fit‑out, hospitality, property or yacht/marine procurement is highly preferred.
• Professional procurement certification (CIPS, CPSM or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business administration or a related field.
