Senior Product Owner – Digital Lending & Onboarding

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the digital onboarding and consumer lending products for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive product vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring seamless customer acquisition and lending journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own product vision, strategy and roadmap for digital onboarding and consumer lending solutions.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of digital onboarding journeys for auto loans and other consumer lending products, optimizing acquisition, underwriting, KYC/eKYC, UAE Pass, biometrics, document collection, credit decisioning and disbursement.
• Drive straight‑through processing, automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology teams to ensure robust, compliant solutions.
• Own and manage the product backlog, defining epics, features, user stories, business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise initiatives based on business value, customer impact and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product ownership experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of delivering digital lending or onboarding products.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, risk and compliance considerations in the UAE market.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
