Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of a high‑value construction project for Al Futtaim Construction, ensuring alignment with the Project Director’s objectives and the company’s strategic goals. This role requires rigorous control of budget, schedule, quality and risk in a complex, high‑stakes environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a large‑scale construction project, covering high‑rise, residential or commercial components.
• Maintain project schedule and budget, ensuring all programme milestones are met.
• Develop and execute a tailored delivery strategy that aligns with the business plan and long‑range financial plan.
• Establish processes and controls for timeline, resource and quality management.
• Implement comprehensive risk‑management procedures to identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Oversee financial aspects, including budgeting, cost forecasting, financial controls and contract administration.
• Negotiate subcontractor agreements to achieve profitability targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects from inception to handover.
• Strong ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate with regulators and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Proactive risk‑management mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
