Senior Project Manager - Interior Fitout & Joinery

About the role

A Senior Project Manager is sought to lead medium-to-large-scale interior fitout and joinery projects across residential, commercial, hospitality and retail sectors in Dubai. The role focuses on end-to-end execution, joinery integration and client relationship management, with a proven track record of delivering large, luxury or high-value spaces and custom joinery from concept to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead turnkey interior fitout projects from site mobilization to final handover
• Manage project schedules, critical paths and resource allocation
• Integrate high-end custom joinery with site works and enforce quality control matching design specifications
• Monitor budgets, cash flows and variations; value-engineer solutions without compromising design intent
• Negotiate contracts and manage sub-contractors, suppliers and specialized trades
• Act as main contact for clients, architects and consultants, and coordinate with in-house factory teams on joinery production timelines
• Resolve complex site conflicts and engineering bottlenecks

Required profile

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in interior fitout and joinery management
• Proven portfolio of large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality or luxury retail projects
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification highly preferred

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of joinery manufacturing, wood species and finishing techniques
• Reading complex architectural drawings and MEP coordination
• Advanced scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera
• Flawless communication, negotiation and leadership
