Senior Project Manager

About the role

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple built‑environment projects across their portfolio. The role covers the full project life‑cycle from initiation through design, execution and handover, ensuring alignment with internal controls and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete life‑cycle of projects, including kick‑off, design, execution, and completion.
• Control project cost, schedule, scope, quality and compliance with internal policies.
• Ensure health, safety and quality standards are met, coordinating with the Health and Safety Manager.
• Collect and analyse progress data, identify delays, and report against milestones.
• Prepare monthly client reports and deliver progress presentations.
• Lead the full bid life‑cycle, from preparation to submission.
• Mentor and develop project staff, fostering a positive working environment.
• Monitor compliance with the Group’s management system and report findings.
• Build and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s in Project/Programme Management is a plus).
• Membership of a recognised engineering body and, preferably, a project management institute.
• Extensive experience with health & safety and environmental protection in construction.
• Proven track record delivering master‑planning projects, particularly in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong background in technical proposals, constructability evaluation and technology deployment.
