Senior Project Manager

About the role

Equiti is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex software and IT implementation projects within its Dubai office. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring delivery of fintech solutions that meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed project and scope plans, define timelines and milestones.
• Manage project communications, reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Gather and document business requirements, propose solutions and oversee testing.
• Lead higher‑priority and more complex projects, supporting other PMO members as needed.
• Contribute to PMO standards, processes and template improvements.
• Serve as a reference point for other departments throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software or IT implementation, preferably with app development.
• Strong understanding of PMI framework and Agile methodologies.
• Proven leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience working with senior and multiple stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification – optional.
• Business analysis experience – optional.
