Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead a portfolio of construction and consultancy projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and KPIs. This role requires close coordination with internal business units, external vendors, and regulatory authorities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and supervise lead Project Managers for each project, ensuring strategic alignment.
• Close tender awards, manage commercial aspects, and establish clear milestones, risk registers, and project plans.
• Implement Value Engineering and oversee handover to FM and CRM teams.
• Coordinate client and stakeholder requirements, scope definition, and approvals.
• Review and approve consultant and supplier invoices, manage claims and variations, and advise the CEO.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and cost using control metrics.
• Ensure consultant and contractor performance complies with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
• Set up communication protocols between employer, consultants, and contractors.
• Lead interactions with authorities to obtain NOCs, permits, and certificates.
• Facilitate weekly/monthly progress meetings and respond to project correspondence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project/Construction Management from a reputable university.
• PMP certification is mandatory.
• 12‑15 years of relevant experience in the GCC, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
