Senior Project Manager – Nuclear Power Plant

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and hand‑over of installation, commissioning and turn‑over activities for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant. Acting as the main liaison between the Site Projects Team, contractors and internal maintenance departments, the role ensures that project schedules are met and safety standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for front‑end loading, installation, commissioning and turn‑over planning.
• Oversee installation planning, ensuring schedules contain correct logic, durations and resources.
• Attend constructability, operability and commissioning meetings; produce monthly progress reports.
• Monitor installation quality, safety, schedule and cost; identify risks and initiate recovery plans.
• Manage risk using ARM methodology and track installation metrics.
• Provide oversight for commissioning start‑up processes and documentation.
• Coordinate turn‑over activities, ensuring complete and accepted documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing large‑scale nuclear or industrial projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including contractors and internal departments.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.
