Senior Project Manager - Visual Arts (Emirati)

About the role

The Visual Arts Department of a Dubai government entity is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Emirati) to lead and oversee its portfolio of visual‑arts projects. The role focuses on establishing robust project‑management processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all scheduled projects.
• Supervise project studies, calculate costs, and provide research‑based rationale for any variances.
• Monitor performance, efficiency and compliance of projects and programs.
• Coordinate reporting, resource planning, budget management, quality assurance, risk management and contract negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead stakeholder activities, ensuring clear communication, schedule adherence and requirement fulfillment.
• Collect, analyse and summarise data for internal and external reporting on project timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee financial records, project reports and post‑project evaluations.
• Support the development of technical and operational policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain information security, occupational health and safety, and environmental management standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in project management, preferably within the public sector or cultural projects.
• Strong knowledge of SOP development, budgeting, risk assessment and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to produce comprehensive reports, analyses and recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Commitment to compliance with information security, health‑safety and environmental policies.
