Senior Python Backend Developer (Remote)

About the role

OrangeUni is seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer to design and maintain high‑traffic services for a platform that includes video streaming, image processing, and an internal CRM. The role is fully remote and focuses on building secure, scalable APIs while ensuring an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Implement and manage AWS services (S3, RDS, SNS, SQS, CloudFront, CloudFormation).
• Design asynchronous processing pipelines with Celery and Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Containerize applications with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Monitor performance and security using Sentry and code‑quality tools.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams (Vue.js) and external integrations such as payment gateways.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Django, ORM, migrations, and admin interface.
• Proven experience with AWS infrastructure and OAuth flows.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
