Senior Python Backend Developer (Remote)

About the role

OrangeUni is seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer to design and maintain high‑traffic services for a platform that includes video streaming, image processing, and an internal CRM. The role is fully remote and focuses on building scalable, secure APIs while collaborating with a distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Implement and maintain background processing with Celery and message brokers (Redis or RabbitMQ).
• Configure and manage AWS services such as S3, RDS, SNS, SQS, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
• Write Dockerfiles, manage docker‑compose environments, and support CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Ensure code quality through testing (Pytest) and static analysis tools (Flake8, Bandit, wemake‑python‑styleguide).
• Monitor application health with Sentry and logging solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Django, ORM migrations, and admin interface.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
