Senior Quality Control Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Engineer to lead the quality assurance of high‑end finishes on luxury building projects such as hotels and mansions. You will develop and enforce quality plans, coordinate inspections, and ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the approved specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) for all finishes works.
• Create detailed inspection plans for painting, tiling, stone, gypsum board, carpentry, and flooring.
• Review material submittals, samples, and mock‑ups; verify deliveries against approved documents.
• Conduct stage inspections, verify compliance with shop drawings and method statements, and issue Inspection Requests (IRs).
• Coordinate testing (adhesion, flatness, coating thickness) and manage corrective actions.
• Track and close NCRs and quality observations.
• Maintain QA/QC records, test reports, checklists, and quality reports.
• Collaborate with construction and procurement teams; train site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• 8–15 years of experience on high‑end commercial, residential or mixed‑use building projects.
• Proven track record in quality control of luxury finishes.
