Senior React Native Engineer

About the role

Justlife is the leading super‑app for home services in the GCC, serving millions of users across six countries. We are building an AI‑first engineering organization and need a Senior React Native Engineer who will own a major part of our mobile experience and help shape how the team builds.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of a major surface of the consumer mobile app, from design to production.
• Define mobile architecture direction, improve code quality, and integrate native modules.
• Drive release quality, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the team.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and operations to ship experiences customers love.
• Profile, debug, and optimise React Native performance at scale.
• Support A/B experiments, rapid prototyping and the use of AI tools to accelerate development.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with React Native, TypeScript and modern mobile development practices.
• Solid native understanding of iOS and Android, with enough Swift/Objective‑C and Kotlin/Java to debug and integrate native modules.
• Proven track record of improving mobile app performance, stability and user experience.
• Deep knowledge of clean code, SOLID principles, scalable architecture and maintainable component design.
• Senior‑level ownership: can take a feature from concept to release, make architecture trade‑offs and mentor others.
