Senior Recruitment Consultant – Legal

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead our Legal division in Dubai, focusing on the in‑house legal market across the UAE and the wider Gulf region. You will build relationships, develop business and match top legal talent with leading organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a specialist desk for in‑house legal roles across the UAE and Gulf.
• Grow existing client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong network of legal professionals with corporate and in‑house experience.
• Provide market insights, talent availability, salary trends and hiring activity to clients and candidates.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, generate leads and achieve team goals.
• Present well‑qualified shortlists with clear assessments and market feedback.
• Prepare client updates covering search progress, market response and compensation data.
• Stay informed about developments affecting the in‑house legal market and advise accordingly.

Required profile

• Experience in a recruitment agency, executive search firm or professional services environment, preferably with legal exposure.
• Background in legal practice or in‑house legal functions (e.g., solicitor, legal counsel, paralegal).
• Recognised legal qualification (LLB, JD, LPC, SQE, Bar, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the legal market and its key stakeholders.
• Proven business development skills and confidence engaging senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, commercially minded and able to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
