Senior Sales Manager – Executive Apartments, Sheikh Zayed Road

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will lead the sales effort for large group and catering business at Marriott Executive Apartments on Sheikh Zayed Road. The role focuses on proactive solicitation, upselling, and achieving both personal and team revenue targets while ensuring excellent guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify, qualify and solicit large group and catering opportunities with high revenue potential.
• Manage the full sales cycle for accounts not handled by the Event Booking Center, including negotiation and contract finalisation.
• Upsell packages, creative food‑and‑beverage options and additional services to maximise revenue per event.
• Develop and execute tailored sales plans, design creative catered events and present proposals to clients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and economic factors to position the property effectively.
• Ensure timely turnover of business to operations for flawless service delivery.
• Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout the guest experience.
• Meet or exceed individual and team revenue goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services or related fields, or a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, etc.
• Minimum of 24 months of relevant sales experience, preferably in hospitality or group catering.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
