Senior Sales Manager – Group & Catering

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will drive revenue by proactively soliciting and managing large group and catering opportunities for Sheraton The Walk in Dubai. This role focuses on upselling, achieving personal and team revenue targets, and delivering exceptional service to build customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and solicit new group/catering business, targeting accounts with high revenue potential.
• Develop and execute sales plans, design creative catered events, and maximize revenue through upselling packages and food‑beverage options.
• Respond to incoming opportunities outside the Event Booking Center parameters and manage the full sales cycle, including contract creation and customer correspondence.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, trade shows, FAM trips and community engagement.
• Collaborate with off‑property sales channels and internal stakeholders to ensure coordinated, non‑duplicative sales efforts.
• Support brand service standards, ensuring exceptional customer experiences before and during events.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services or related fields.
• Or a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field (no experience required).
