Senior Social Media Manager

About the role

Assembly is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead the organic social strategy for its global brand clients. You will own the end‑to‑end process, from planning and content creation to community moderation and performance analysis, ensuring a consistent voice across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute organic social media strategies that boost engagement, brand awareness and community growth.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management of all organic channels, including planning, briefing, publishing and moderation.
• Mentor junior social team members and coordinate with creative teams to maintain brand consistency.
• Maintain editorial calendars aligned with broader campaign moments.
• Design reactive and proactive community engagement plans to strengthen loyalty.
• Monitor performance metrics, produce reports and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with insights and strategy teams to integrate learnings into overall brand plans.
• Serve as the primary client contact for organic social, presenting strategies, results and growth ideas.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience managing organic social for brands, with at least 2 years leading a small team.
• Proven track record of growing engaged communities across multiple platforms.
• Excellent copywriting skills tailored to each platform and audience.
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
• Analytical mindset able to translate metrics into insights.
• Strong project‑management abilities, organized and deadline‑driven.
• Collaborative and confident when working with internal teams and clients.
• Passion for staying ahead of trends in organic social, creator culture and community building.
