About the role

Emirates is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Platform Services team in Dubai. You will work in an agile feature team, designing, developing and maintaining Java‑based full‑stack solutions that support the Emirates Group business.

Key responsibilities

Analyse technical requirements and produce low‑level designs and production‑ready code.
Develop secure, optimized Java 8+ applications using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
Implement front‑end components with React.js or Angular.js and ensure full test coverage in CI/CD pipelines.
Provide on‑call production support, resolve incidents within SLAs and continuously improve code quality.

Required profile

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of Java full‑stack development experience.
Experience delivering solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and using DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins.

Required skills

Java (8+), Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful API, SOAP, Microservices, Design Patterns.
Front‑end: React.js, Angular.js.
Databases: Oracle, MariaDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, Elastic Search, GraphQL.
Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
DevOps: GitLab, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence, Splunk.
