Senior Software Engineer - SDET

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer-SDET provides development expertise across the software development streams of the organization (ISA) and is responsible for implementing and automating the quality of its software products. The role works with product teams, project managers and IT solutions managers to turn business needs into technical implementations, following ISA's architectural principles.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver software products and components, contributing to the technology stack, design, development, deployment and automated testing.
• Translate business needs into technical implementations in line with ISA's architecture.
• Review technical documentation, user guides, training manuals and system specifications, and give feedback on architectural designs.
• Identify and implement best practices, emerging technologies and agreed remedial and preventative measures.
• Ensure user interfaces match requirements and provide status reports to specialists, users and managers.
• Share knowledge proactively and maintain strong relationships with project, product, operations, governance and enterprise development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on software test automation experience, preferably in agile squads; travel, airline or e-commerce platform experience preferred.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Modern test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or RestAssured.
• At least one automation language: Java, C#, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices and databases; observability tools such as Datadog or Dynatrace.
• Experience with performance, load and non-functional testing, and analysis of telemetry and defect trends.
