Product Manager

About the role

The Product Manager is responsible for setting priorities and accepting the work produced by a team so that the product functions properly and delivers maximum value. The role covers developing product concepts, generating requirements and specifications, and working with UX designers to create usable products that meet user expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and delivery activities, including grooming the backlog and answering development team queries promptly
• Ensure stories are ready before each sprint, with clear acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritize the backlog in line with product vision and client needs
• Liaise between business and development teams to deliver continuous value
• Review visual designs from the UX team and test cases from the QA team
• Stay up to date with market trends and competitor analysis, and monitor team performance
• Represent the company in client meetings and gather regular feedback
• Act as Product Manager 2 in the absence of the Product Manager 2

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in technical engineering, computer science, mathematics or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst, QA, product owner, UX designer or architect
• Aviation domain experience highly preferred
• Experience writing user stories and business requirements, and a proven record of on-time delivery
• Fluent English

Required skills

• Solid technical background with understanding of software development
• SCRUM methodology and Scrum Master or Professional Certified Product Owner certification (optional)
• UI/UX design understanding and software testing knowledge
• Collaboration tools such as Slack and JIRA
