Senior Sourcing Specialist - Infrastructure/Power/Energy

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join its team in the UAE. The role manages strategic sourcing and procurement for infrastructure goods and services, focusing on cost optimisation, vendor performance and compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for infrastructure-related goods and services.
• Manage end-to-end procurement, including RFQs, RFPs, vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans where needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with at least 3 years in the infrastructure or construction industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, procurement best practices and contract management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
