Senior Specialist Consultant – Allergy & Immunology (Government Facility)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant in Allergy & Immunology to join a reputable government healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of allergic and immune‑mediated conditions, delivering evidence‑based care and improving long‑term health outcomes for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage allergic disorders such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema and drug hypersensitivity.
• Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders.
• Perform and interpret allergy investigations, including skin prick tests and other diagnostic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, allergen avoidance strategies and immunotherapy.
• Identify and manage severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, providing emergency care when required.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, pediatricians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required profile

• Recognised medical degree with postgraduate qualifications and specialty training in Allergy & Immunology or a related specialty.
• Relevant clinical experience at Senior Specialist or Consultant level.
• Board certifications such as UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, German Board or equivalent are encouraged.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Performing and interpreting skin prick tests and other allergy investigations.
• Developing evidence‑based treatment plans for allergic and immunological disorders.
