Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

SOCOTEC is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to provide design review and engineering services for building and infrastructure projects across the UAE and internationally. The role involves client interaction, site visits, and collaboration with commercial and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality structural engineering services, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project timelines.
• Coordinate project details, attend client and authority meetings, and represent SOCOTEC on site.
• Identify business opportunities and support the Commercial team with fee proposals and quotations.
• Work with the Technical Manager and Accountant on reporting, invoicing, and financial analysis of projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Structural Engineering with at least 10 years of experience, preferably in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Strong knowledge of local Abu Dhabi codes, regulations and the MePS system.
• Professional attitude, ability to exceed client expectations and uphold SOCOTEC’s quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE and SAP2000.
• Experience with local Abu Dhabi structural codes and regulations.
• ADM Engineer's License Card (preferred).
