Senior Technical Communications Architect

About the role

AHOY Playbooks, part of Flatgigs, supports the AHOY ecosystem with strategic decks and proposals used by pre-sales, sales, commercial, technical and product teams. It is looking for a Senior Technical Communications Architect to lead the content strategy for these information systems, refine the documentation frameworks and help explain them to both developers and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical leaders, and turn business goals into technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Create high-level architectural blueprints for enterprise systems, cloud integration or data networks.
• Assist with technical governance and build a library of materials for pre-sales, sales, technical, R&D, product and commercial teams.
• Mentor the AHOY Playbooks team and build relationships with the other teams it works with.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, guiding stakeholders and external leadership on technology roadmaps.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in technology and system development.
• Hybrid work model, based in the UAE and able to meet in person at least twice a week.
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic or French is a plus but not required.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
• Time management and the ability to anticipate the needs of pre-sales, sales, tech, R&D, product and commercial teams.

Required skills

• Detailed understanding of tooling, data modeling and enterprise application integration concepts.
• Experience with enterprise integration tools and common integration design patterns.
• Proven ability to write concise technical stories, such as a proof-of-concept pitch deck, and to present to business leaders.
